AJ
Veterinary Technician
AJ found his love for veterinary medicine when he became a kennel attendant in 2008 in Stratford, CT. He worked his way up to veterinary assistant and then to veterinary technician. Taking a brief stint away from the field in 2017 to obtain a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, he has recently rejoined the field to keep up with his true passion as a Veterinary Technician. He enjoys expanding his knowledge base by attending Veterinary conferences and continuing education meetings whenever possible to obtain new skills to bring back to the Shelton Veterinary family.
AJ enjoys working on his property with his 40+ chickens, his numerous bee hives collecting honey every year, and working in the large garden, all while spending time with his rescue pitty, Rheia. In his other free time, he is a competitive powerlifter in the state. AJ hopes to start his certification courses soon to become a Certified Veterinary Technician to solidify his passion for his career choice.
Tina
Veterinary Technician
Hi there, I’m Tina. I recently joined the SVC team in September 2025. Being in the veterinary field has always been a passion of mine, and I’m grateful to have finally found a place that gave me the opportunity I’ve always hoped for. I’m dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of pets and the people who love them. I am currently enrolled in the Veterinary Technician program at Penn Foster as I work toward becoming certified in the field I love.
I have a sweet pup named Luna, who is truly my world. Outside of work, I enjoy playing board games—especially Scrabble—playing pickleball, taking Luna for walks and playtime with my husband, cooking, and binge-watching all my favorite shows.
Ariel
Client Service Representative
Ariel has always had a love for animals big and small; she has been in the vet field for four years. She joined our team in 2024 as CSR and has moved up in a short amount of time to a Lead CSR at SVC. Ariel enjoys furthering her knowledge and learning new things to help with her role at SVC. She helps our clients get the best care and treatment for their fur babies.
In her spare time, you can find her reading, Crafting and traveling the world.
Rachel
Client Service Representative
Hi! I’m Rachel. I joined Shelton Veterinary Center in September of 2025. After spending 20+ years in promotional marketing I changed paths to follow my desire to spend my days with and around pets.
I am passionate about animals, especially dogs. I currently have a 4 year old grey pitty Piper that my family and I rescued. I love spending time with my husband and 2 children at home and taking trips to Disney. I also love walking Short Beach in Stratford and collect sea glass and taking Piper out for long walks to explore.
Faith

Faith has had a passion for veterinary medicine since she was a child. She attended Animal Behavior College and received her veterinary assistant certification while working as a manager in a different career. Faith enjoys furthering her knowledge, learning new things every day, and is currently studying at Penn Foster to achieve her veterinary technician certification.
Faith loves motivating the SVC team by writing inspirational quotes on our staff whiteboard and decorating the hospital for Holidays. Faith enjoys going to the beach and spending time with friends and family in her spare time. She has two cats Squid and Leeroy, a snake named Noodle and a leopard gecko.
